4. Political Data Protection

We understand the unique sensitivity of political campaign data.

Your messaging strategy, donor information, voter contact data, campaign plans, opposition research, and strategic decisions are treated as confidential business information. We implement the following protections:

  • Strict data segregation: Every campaign account is completely isolated. No campaign's data is ever accessible to or visible to any other campaign account.
  • No cross-campaign analytics: We do not analyze patterns across competing campaigns or provide competitive intelligence derived from other users' data.
  • Employee access controls: Access to campaign data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis for technical support only.
  • No political bias: Our data practices are identical regardless of your party affiliation, political ideology, or the office you are seeking.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security)
  • Encryption at rest: Stored data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption
  • Supabase hosting: Our database is hosted on Supabase with row-level security (RLS) ensuring users can only access their own data
  • Regular security reviews: We conduct regular reviews of our security practices and infrastructure
  • Limited employee access: Only authorized personnel have access to production data, and all access is logged

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active and your subscription is current.
  • After cancellation: You have a 30-day window to export your campaign data after cancelling your subscription. After 30 days, your campaign data is permanently deleted.
  • Assessment data: Campaign readiness assessment data is retained for up to 12 months to enable re-engagement and allow you to retake the assessment with historical context.
  • Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data (containing no personally identifiable information) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.
